Girls' Day 2025

Girls' Day 2025 with intoMINT at Anhalt University of Applied Sciences

On 3 April 2025, the intoMINT project team organised an exciting hands-on event at Anhalt University of Applied Sciences as part of the nationwide Girls' Day.

Ziel The aim of Girls' Day is to inspire girls to pursue careers in fields where women are currently underrepresented – particularly in mathematics, information technology, natural sciences and technology (STEM)/(MINT). With our programme, we want to encourage girls to try out technology for themselves and discover new career prospects.

This year's focus was on artificial intelligence (AI). Together with the participants, we explored how AI works, how machines process information and what role algorithms play in this. Through simple programming tasks, the girls were able to experience how code is used to create intelligent systems – and how AI is already influencing our everyday lives today.

The day not only offered many eye-opening moments, but also lots of fun trying things out and discovering new things. Our goal was to spark curiosity, boost confidence in using digital tools, and perhaps even provide some initial inspiration for the participants' own career paths.

We are delighted that our programme has once again inspired young talent to pursue careers in the digital world – and we look forward to seeing you next time!
