MINT-MACHEN-Festival 2024

On 18 and 19 June, the MINT-MACHEN Festival took place at the Festung Mark in Magdeburg.

This is an annual event where pupils can discover the world of mathematics, computer science, natural sciences and technology through exciting workshops and experiments.

The intoMINT project team was on site and offered a workshop for school pupils. Participants learned how to program an automatic plant watering system using Micro:bit, discovering the connection between biology, computer science and technology in a fun way.

In addition, other exciting STEM (MINT) experiments from the app were presented to all interested parties, which were very well received by young and old alike during the hands-on activities in the afternoon.

The feedback from pupils, teachers and parents has been very helpful, and the lively exchange has been extremely enriching for us.

We would like to thank the organisers, participants and helpers for an inspiring and successful festival. We are already looking forward to next year, when we will once again share and promote our fascination for STEM (MINT) subjects.
