This is what it's all about:
The methods and procedures used in the recruiting process are changing as a result of the internet and new media, but one thing remains fundamentally the same: as an applicant, you must be able to briefly and concisely explain to the employer in a job interview why you are the right person for the job.
Digitalization is also advancing in job interviews and assessment situations, which is why it is important to prepare participants not only for traditional job interviews but also for AI-driven processes and assessment situations (as these are now used as pre-selection tools in approximately 75% of recruitment processes in industry).
It is helpful for applicants to understand what actually happens in a job interview; that is why we discuss the topic of “competence fit vs. cultural fit” and look at various questioning strategies used by employers (e.g., situational questions, backward-looking questions, etc.). The aim is to enable participants to deal with such types of questions in principle – because there are no “best answers to interview questions” (even if application guides in print or online claim otherwise).
Preparing for an interview begins with carefully analyzing the content of job advertisements and websites of potential employers. We start with this topic and then go through all the important aspects. Tips on the question “What happens after the interview?” round off the topic.
